London

I have packed some things and a guitar and flew to London. This city has always attracted me as the center of world music. I had a bunch of cd’s which I recorded in Dublin. And I decided to deliver them to all the recording studios.

I took a directory with addresses, went to the post office and sent the discs to all the record companies I could find.

My trip to London was very sad. All hopes and ideas have slowly faded away in the middle of a simple and ordinary reality. In one of the pubs, I have met a producer who told about his protégés who had no money for subway rides and that all popular music in London is written by a blind girl.

I lived in London for half a year, celebrated the New Year on Trafalgar Square and returned home. This was the end of my musical journey.
