Sonsuz Aşk (04-07-2021)

I was born and raised in the vicinity of Azov. This city was once Turkish. My grandmother said that we have Turkish blood. I want to try to record a composition in Turkish in the style of 2/4 Oyun. I have named this song – Sonsuz Aşk. Here’s a bit of the introduction.

I was in Antalya for the first time in 2019/20 to celebrate the new 2020 year. I really liked the homeland of my ancestors and decided that I would come often and stay long. I plan to be in Kemer for two weeks at the end of August 2021 and will definitely go to the radio with this composition.

The relationship between a man and a woman is often demanding. These are ups and downs, quarrels over trifles, internal and external contradictions, but true love always wins. This is what I am about to express in verse. I wonder what, the result will be like.

I wrote the English version of the song. It is much easier for me to write in English because I have been writing in this language for many years. Now I am starting to translate into Turkish. I need to get acquainted with the basic rules of the grammar of this language. (https://verse-n-music.art/eternal-love/)

Here is the first non-rhymed version of the verse, I really hope that everything is grammatically correct. I listen to the Turkish speech and memorize the pronunciation.

Sonsuz Aşk

(ana)
Aşk bir mucizedir
Kalbimin derinliklerinde
Harika lirik
Onun her başlangıcı

Umarım her zaman
Parçası ol, şimdi
Nefes al, sıcak övgü
O nefes alıyor

(koro)
Ne mutlu anlar
Seninle, hazinem
Tüm zevklerim
Ve sonsuz zevk

Sen benim kıymetlimsin
Olmak için dua ediyorum
Layık, senin lütfun
Aşk, benim bir parçam

(ana)
Müşfik ve nazik
Nazikçe kibar
Rafine düşüncelerin
Aklımın zevki

Ben çok inançlıyım
Çocuk olmak
Çok müteşekkirim
Hafifleşiyorum

(köprü)
Bazıları çok nadir
Arada bir
Kavgaları paylaşırız
Gülümseme ile gözyaşları

Ayrılmayı dene
Acıya
Ama sonra yeniden başlat
Kalbimizin etki alanı

I think that musicians will be interested in how I come up with a melody. I have a Samsung A71 phone. I turn on a track on the Korg pa300 and hum the melody as I feel it on the phone. Then I write down the notes and correct the wrong notes that are out of tune. Here’s a small example.

(ana)
Aşk bir mucizedir Dm-C 9 var1
Kalbimin derinliklerinde Gm-Bb 10 var1
Harika lirik Dm-C 11 var1
Onun her başlangıcı Gm-Bb 12 var1

Umarım her zaman Dm-C 13 var1
Parçası ol, şimdi Gm-Bb 14 var1
Nefes al, sıcak övgü Dm-C 15 var1
O nefes alıyor Gm-Bb 16 fill2

(koro)
Ne mutlu anlar F-C 17 var4
Seninle, hazinem Bdim-Am 18 var4
Tüm zevklerim Dm-G 19 var4
Ve sonsuz zevk Am 20 var4

I have finished the composition. It has changed a lot. In the end I decided to record the violin as an introduction. I also changed the key to Dm. I always try to find a compromise between singing too high and too low. When you sing too high, your voice becomes tight and synthetic. Singing too low ends in trembling notes. This is especially true for non-professional vocals. And the timbre of vocals is best revealed when performed in the optimal range.
