Horizon’s on fire
So tired and bleeding
The shivering mire
My memories feeding
Entrapped and distracted
Like beams in the pool
My life’s of a fish
My mind’s of a fool
The ocean is gone
And nothing supported
My strength was the bridge
Untimely distorted
Entrapped and distracted
I stare off, firmly
Upon the horizon
That’s bleeding me warmly
